Medical Financial aid
The four decades of war has destroyed the medical infrastructure of Afghanistan. Many hospitals were reconstructed with help from the international community, but they still offer basic medical services to patients. Thousands of patients with complex cases travel to nearby Pakistan and India for treatment. It is estimated that Afghans spend over 500 million USD every year on treatment abroad. Most of this is spent in Pakistan and India.
While Hewad Foundation's financial resources are limited and cannot offer treatment abroad for complex cases on wider and continuous basis, it welcomes applications for discussion with wealth Afghans in the society for sponsorship. Once successfully sponsored, we then facilitate treatment abroad for those patients. We ensure the air ticket, stay abroad, treatment, and other expenses are sponsored.
If you need financial aid for complex cases that cannot be treated in Afghanistan, please contact us on the below number and e mail address. Please submit a medical report for our review and provide us with the contact details of your doctor who can explain the case to Hewad Foundation's team. We prefer the report to be in both Pashto/Dari and English langauges:
